๐Ÿ“…The MoU, was signed on 07th March 2024, by Mr. R S Gill (PCCF & HoFF Meghalaya) representing the Forest and Environment Department, Govt. of Meghalaya, and Mr. A. M. Singh (Director General, NCCF) at Meghalaya House, Delhi. ๐Ÿค

This collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering sustainable natural resource management practices in Meghalaya, with a laser focus on Carbon Credit initiatives and Forest Certification. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’š

2๏ธ. Capacity Building: Our training programs are set to equip officers and stakeholders in Meghalaya with the necessary skills for navigating the intricate processes of Carbon Credit proposals and Forest Certification.

3๏ธ. Pilot Site Certification: We’re all set to certify different types of forests like reserved forests, private forests, and community forests, each showcasing the rich diversity of the region’s forests.
