Mr. A.K.Srivastava, a veteran professional forester, was a member of the Indian Forest Service. He has worked as Director-General of Forests and Special Secretary, Additional Director General of Forests (Forest Conservation), Chief Executive Officer, CAMPA and Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal in the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change. He had been ex-officio Chairman and Member, National Forest Advisory Committee, ex-officio Member, National Biodiversity Authority, and Animal Welfare Board of India. Presently, he is associated with the Ministry as an Expert Member of the ‘Monitoring Group’ of the National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (National CAMPA).
Earlier, in his State Cadre of Jammu and Kashmir, he had worked at various senior positions like PCCF and Chief Wildlife Warden, Jammu and Kashmir, Managing Director, J&K State Forest Corporation, and Director, Department of Social Forestry. He also worked as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
He is working as Director General, Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests (NCCF), a not for profit organization, mandated for diverse conservation activities and development of certification standards for various constituents of our natural resource base viz forests, trees outside forests, protected areas, and wetlands, non-wood forest products, quality planting materials, ecotourism, biofuel, and biomass, etc. NCCF is also developing a voluntary Carbon Registry for India. NCCF is actively providing technical assistance to the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, and State Forest Departments in the matters of forest certification.
Mr. Srivastava is also functioning as Chairman, Green The Earth Trust, recently established in Delhi for afforestation and environmental consciousness.

Mr. A. M. Singh

Mr. Arvind Madhav Singh is a retired Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of 1986 batch from Assam segment of Assam Meghalaya Cadre. Mr Singh retired from the post of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest & Head of the Forest Force (HoFF), Forest Department, Govt. of Assam (Jan,2019 – June 2021).
A man of dynamic personality, he had done Masters in Geology from Lucknow University and M. Phil in Internal Strategy & Security from Chennai University.
During his illustrious service period of more than 35 years , he rendered services to many posts in Centre Government as well as in State Government , some of them are PCCF & HoFF, Assam, Chairman, Pollution Control Board, Assam, Joint Secretary to Government of India (Ministry of DoNER from 2013-2016), Inspector General of Forests (IGF) & Deputy Inspector General of Forests,(DIG) in Ministry of Environment & Forests& Climate Change (2009-2013), Govt. of India, Professor, Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun, (2003-2007); Associate Professor, Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (IGNFA), Dehradun, (1999-2003) besides various assignments in Assam. He had conducted more than 100 in-service courses for senior IFS officers and organised many theme-based training workshops.
He had presented many papers in various contemporary issues in Commonwealth Forestry Associations, IUFRO, ITTO, World Forestry Congress, Indian Forest Congress, Global Bamboo Summit and co-authored a book on Forest Certification (Published by TERI).
He had also represented India in many International Forums such as United Nations Forum on Forestry (UNFF), FAO, World Forestry Congress, CITES, Commonwealth Forestry Associations etc. He was one of the expert members in ITTO. Yokohama, Japan representing SE Asia from 2011-13. He is also an expert in People & Forest, Sustainable Forest Management & Forest Certification at National and International level and member of various committees.
Presently he is handling USAID funded project on “Trees outside Forests in India” as Project Director in NCCF and also supervising TOF Certification Scheme along with CR-I recently developed by NCCF.

Mr. Richard Bright

Richard Bright, CEO Carbon Registry-India(CR-I) by Network for Certification and Conservation of Forests(NCCF) is a seasoned IT and digital transformation leader who has been in the field for over two decades, efficiently managing custom software development & solutions, information technology operations and driving sustainability initiatives through digital transformation.
Before, joining NCCF in 2019, Richard served as the Director at Teleperformance (Digital Integrated Business Services), where he led global Software service delivery across nine countries. His tenure at Teleperformance was marked by his ability to navigate the complexities of the IT industry and deliver results that surpassed expectations. Prior to that, he held leadership positions with companies like Intelenet Global Services, Serco, Kuoni Travel, Business Travel International and Sita-Western Union.
Apart from his experience, Richard possesses a range of certifications that attest to his expertise in the field. He holds a master’s degree in computer application and is a certified Prince 2 practitioner, Cisco professional, ITSM, Robotics & automation and data analytics expert, trained ISO 27001 LA, ISO 14064, ISO 9001 and adept in Life Cycle Assessment. He also has extensive exposure on ITGC, HIPPA, SOX, GRC and SOC Compliance.
Richard’s unique blend of expertise in technology, standard development, carbon markets, climate change mitigation & adaptation, policies and regulations, enables him to provide guidance to organizations seeking to implement sustainable practices and make a positive impact. His leadership has been instrumental in driving sustainability initiatives and digital transformation, and building a greener economy in India.

Ms. Abhilasha Guleria

Almost a decade old Forestry professional, she has working experience on forestry-based projects and conducting Due Diligence audit of Wood based industries as per international timber regulations. With education background in Forestry and Wood Science and Technology from Forest Research Institute, Ms. Abhilasha Guleria has joined NCCF for past two years.
She is engaged in executing the USAID TOFI deliverables related to Tree outside Forests (TOF) certification, Quality planting material (QPM) certification and Non-timber TOF Products (NTTP) certification scheme, along with review of procurement and import policies in India, awarded to NCCF. Apart from this, she is also looking after PEFC operations in India as part of NCCF as National Governing Body (NGB) of PEFC in India.
After completion of ICFRE project on Agroforestry Policy Research Project, she has been also engaged in another ICFRE project awarded to NCCF “Popularisation of wood and wood-based products”.

Mr. Mohit Kumar
Registry Administrator

Mohit Kumar joined NCCF in 2021 as Registry Administrator for Carbon Registry-India. He provides support to registry users with opening and using their accounts, including creating new project records and issuing, transferring, and retiring Marketable Carbon Units (MCUs). He performs completeness check and Know your Customer (KYC) procedures. He coordinates with the CR-I finance team to track and process accountholder invoices.
Mohit holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (University of Delhi).

Ms. Neha Singh
Coordinator

Currently, Neha’s work at NCCF focuses on the coordination of Forest Management Standard and development of Ecotourism Standard. She joined NCCF in August 2021 and worked for the development of Tress outside Forest and Non-Wood Forest Resources Certification Standards. Neha received a M.Sc. degree in Natural Resource Management from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2018. Her master’s research “Population Status of Common Leopard (Panthera pardus) and Relative Abundance of its prey species within a conflict hot spot of Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand)” was funded by MoEFCC under National Mission on Himalayan Studies- Human-Wildlife Conflict project. Previously, she has worked as an Exchange Research Scholar at Smithsonian Conservation biology Institute (USA), University of Zurich (Switzerland) and Kunming Institute of Zoology (PRC).
Personalities like David Attenborough, Jane Goodall and Dian Fossey has been her inspiration. Neha has special interest in studying human wildlife conflict and the impacts of climate change on wildlife.

Ms. Chayanika Guin

Chayanika is a postgraduate in Environment Studies and Resource Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies (TERI University) with a graduate in Botany from University of Delhi. She joined NCCF in August 2021 and looking after ICFRE Policy Research Study titled “Popularization of the Use of Wood and Wood Substitutes as Per the National Forest Policy and Modalities for Facilitating Industries for Its Optimum Utilization”.

Mr. Rishabh Madan

Rishabh completed his post-graduation in Environmental Sciences from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak and graduation in Microbiology from Amity University, Noida. Rishabh joined NCCF in November 2021 and worked for the development of Trees outside Forest Standard. Currently, he is looking after the PEFC Chain of Custody and its operations in India. He is also a part of USAID TOFI Program.

Ms. Suparna Das

She is a postgraduate in Forestry from Forest Research Institute, Dehradun and did her graduation in Botany from University of Calcutta. She joined NCCF in April 2022 as a Project Associate under USAID TOFI Project and currently looking after QPM Certification Scheme as a Co-ordinator.

Mr. Maisnam Sanathoi Luwang

Currently, Sanathoi is co-ordinating with the activities of developing the Non-Wood Forest Resources (NWFR) and Non-Timber TOF Products (NTTP) Certification Standard. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Forestry from the College of Horticulture and Forestry, CAU, Pasighat, and a master’s degree in Forestry from the Forest Research Institute (Deemed to be) University, Dehradun. His emphasis on Forest and People, Sustainability and Remote Sensing & GIS during the educational journey made him take up topics of “Mapping of Encroachment in the Langol and the Langol Extension Reserved Forests of Manipur Using Machine Learning Approach on Sentinel-2 Data in Google Earth Engine”, “A Comprehensive Review on Forest Fire Burnt Area Assessment through Remote Sensing and GIS”, “Review of Drivers of Deforestation Forest Degradation in India”, “Optimisation of nodal cutting propagation technique of Basmbus balcooa Roxb”, etc. for research.
