Mr. A. K. Srivastava, a veteran professional forester, was a member of the Indian Forest Service. He has worked as Director-General of Forests and Special Secretary, Additional Director General of Forests (Forest Conservation), Chief Executive Officer, CAMPA and Director, Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal in the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change. He had been ex-officio Chairman and Member, National Forest Advisory Committee, ex-officio Member, National Biodiversity Authority, and Animal Welfare Board of India. Presently, he is associated with the Ministry as an Expert Member of the ‘Monitoring Group’ of the National Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority (National CAMPA).

Mr. Suneel Pandey, is presently Vice President in ITC, an Indian Conglomerate. Mr. Pandey is an engineer by education and a forester by profession. He has served in Indian Forest Service (IFS) from 1990 to 2008. During his tenure in IFS, he served as divisional forest officer as well as Mission Coordinator and Mission Director in the Technology Mission of National Mission on Bamboo Applications (NMBA) of the Government of India, under the Ministry of Science and Technology (2003-2008). He took VRS from IFS in 2008 and joined the private sector. Currently in ITC, he leads a multi-disciplinary team involved in agro forestry, wood procurement, supply chain, sustainability, certification and bio-diversity conservation. During his long career in Government and Private Sector, he has successfully dealt with projects relating to forest management and conservation, agro forestry, biodiversity, related business development, technology, enabling systems, policy and programme implementation. As a person, he can be described as open, curious, engaging and having a strong bias for team work and action

Mr. Avani Kumar Varma, IFS (retd)

A Member of Indian Forest Service (1974; Karnataka), Mr. Varma retired on superannuation as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force of Karnataka State Forest Department. He has also worked in various capacities including PCCF (Wildlife) and Chief Wildlife Warden Karnataka and has been actively involved in the field of Forest management certification and Chain of Custody Certification process as peer reviewer, observer, co-auditor and lead. He was also the Chairman of KBBABS committee and member Tech group of sub mission on Agroforestry. He is presently Member of the NCCF Governing Body and also chairing the Standard Development Group, FM Standard of NCCF.

Bhowmik Harendra Sanghvi has completed his post-graduation in management studies from S. P. Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai. His work experience spans over 20 years in International Business, Procurement, General Management, and R&D, and he is currently working on digital transformation. He is currently President of Hindustan Pencils.

He has contributed and directed various projects on sustainability, climate change, monitoring, evaluation and afforestation.

Mr. Himamshu Sharma is a seasoned Commercial & Supply Chain professional with over 22 years of experience spanning diverse sectors, including Engineering Plastics, Energy Storage Solutions, Textiles, FMCG, Telecom, Pulp & Paper, F&B, and Mining. Throughout his career, he has consistently optimized cost drivers, contributing to both top and bottom-line growth.

Mr. Sharma has played a pivotal role in change management and project management, leading cross-functional teams to enhance financial and operational efficiencies. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer of Star Paper Mills in Saharanpur, he continues to drive synergies and impactful outcomes in the industry.
