🌿 Exciting Update on QPM 🌱

We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Pilot Testing for the Draft Quality Planting Material (QPM) Certification Standard at Star Paper Mills in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

📅 Date: 5th-6th September 2023

📍 Location: Star Paper Mills Campus, Saharanpur, UP

Our primary aim during this pilot testing was to evaluate the applicability of the QPM Certification Standard in nurseries an d identify any potential challenges. We’re committed to enhancing the quality of planting material in agriculture and forestry, aligning with environmental sustainability goals.

🌳 The Draft QPM Standard was developed through extensive collaboration and through a multi-stakeholder Standard Development Group (SDG).

🔍 Our dedicated assessment team for pilot testing was led by third party certification body i.e., GICIA India Pvt. Ltd. Field visits and interactions with stakeholders provided invaluable insights into its practical implementation.

🤝 We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Star Paper Mills and all stakeholders for their active participation in this significant initiative. Your feedback and insights will guide us in finalizing the QPM Certification Standard for the benefit of agriculture and forestry sectors.
