We’re thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Pilot Testing for the Draft Quality Planting Material (QPM) Certification Standard at ITC Ltd. in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

📍 Location: ITC Ltd., Rudrapur, Uttarakhand

Our mission to enhance the quality of planting material in agriculture and forestry is gaining momentum. The purpose of this pilot testing was to assess the applicability of the QPM Certification Standard among nurseries and to identify any challenges in its implementation.

🌳 The Draft QPM Standard was meticulously developed with input from a multi-stakeholder Standard Development Group (SDG) and underwent public consultation. The valuable inputs and suggestions gathered during this pilot testing will further refine the Standard.

🔍 Our dedicated assessment team for pilot testing was led by third party certification body i.e., GICIA India Pvt. Ltd who conducted field visits, engaged with staff, and met local farmers to gain real-world insights into the Standard’s applicability.
